RAEN WINE DINNER
MARCH 26th
Asador Bastian welcomes RAEN winery, founded by second-generation vintners Carlo and Dante Mondavi, continuing their family’s legacy with a focus on site-driven, terroir-focused Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. As grandsons of Robert Mondavi, they blend Burgundian techniques with a modern, minimal-intervention approach. RAEN, short for “Research in Agriculture and Enology Naturally,” emphasizes native yeast fermentations and a subtle use of French oak during aging, ensuring each wine reflects its vineyard’s unique character with purity and elegance.
Dedicated to sustainable and regenerative farming, RAEN practices organic and biodynamic viticulture across its 25 acres and three key Sonoma Coast sites: Fort Ross-Seaview, Freestone-Occidental, and Bodega. These wind-swept, Pacific-influenced vineyards, with their diverse soils and elevations, produce wines of complexity and finesse. By prioritizing soil health, biodiversity, and dry farming, RAEN crafts wines that capture the raw beauty and energy of this rugged coastal terroir.
We are excited to offer a curated menu and host RAEN winemaker, Melanie McIntyre for the evening to share her knowledge and expertise with you. She will visit each table to offer a unique and personal experience. Book at table in The Dining Room, at a Bar Booth or at our Communal Table. $350 per person.
